REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS POLICY
1. Free trial period
Access to the My Pocket Doula App® may include a 7-day free trial.
To start the free trial, users must select a paid subscription plan and provide valid payment details. No payment is taken during the free trial period.
2. Cancellation during the free trial
You may cancel your subscription at any time within the 7-day free trial period.
If you cancel within this window:
– you will not be charged
– access will end at the conclusion of the free trial
It is your responsibility to cancel before the trial period ends if you do not wish to continue.
3. Charges after the free trial
If you do not cancel within the free trial period, your selected subscription plan will automatically convert to a paid subscription and the applicable fee will be charged.
By starting a free trial, you expressly agree to this automatic conversion.
4. Refunds
Once a subscription has converted to a paid plan, no refunds will be given.
This includes situations where:
– the subscription is cancelled after payment has been taken
– the app is used for only part of a billing period
– content has not been fully accessed or completed
This is in line with UK consumer law relating to digital content, where access begins immediately upon payment.
5. Ongoing subscriptions and cancellation
Paid subscriptions may be cancelled at any time.
Cancellation will stop future payments, but access will continue until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued.
6. Digital content access
All content within the My Pocket Doula App® is digital and provided on a subscription basis.
By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that:
– access to digital content begins immediately
– your statutory right to cancel digital content after access has begun is waived
7. Personal use only
Subscriptions to the My Pocket Doula App® are for individual use only.
Subscriptions:
– are non-transferable
– may not be shared, resold or distributed
– may not be accessed by multiple users
Sharing login details or content access is a breach of these terms and may result in suspension or termination of access without refund.
8. Platform-specific purchases
Where subscriptions are purchased via third-party platforms (such as Apple App Store or Google Play), their refund and billing policies may also apply.
In such cases, refunds (if any) are managed by the platform, not by A Journey Ahead Limited.
9. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to update this Refunds & Cancellations Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
